Meat in Italy - New Study Released
Meat consumption is suffering from the economic crisis and the difficult period Italian consumers are living through. In Italy meat is, in fact, registering a negative trend as a consequence of the decrease in consumer purchasing power. Italians have been forced to reduce meat consumption patterns on a daily, and sometimes also on a weekly, basis to shift towards cheaper meat options (meat types and cuts) or to other protein options as eggs and pulses.
