New Market Study Published: Cider/Perry in China
Cider/perry, representing only a tiny fraction of the total alcoholic drinks market in China in volume terms, was unpopular during the review period. With limited product knowledge, local consumers are unable to differentiate between sparkling wine and cider/perry, whereas cider/perry is usually bought for family dinners, by women and young consumers, particularly those who do not want or cannot drink too much.
