Just Released: "Tourism Flows Inbound in the United Kingdom"
In 2011 the number of overseas trips to the UK increased by 4% reporting the first positive growth since 2007. However, 2012 did not continue this positive performance as arrival numbers into the UK remained fairly stable, declining by under 1% to 29 million. This was despite London's hosting of the Olympic Games, which failed to attract additional visitors, as economic recovery in the Eurozone and US remained subdued, with countries such as Italy and Spain, falling back into recession....
