New Market Study, "Transportation in Venezuela", Has Been Published
Transportation registered a 40% increase in current value sales in 2012. After accounting for inflation, constant value sales recovered strongly from negative growth rates in 2011. Although the government has not officially allowed airfares to be adjusted for two consecutive years, the carriers saw a positive real growth of sales due to an increase in the frequency of flights that produced a larger volume of passengers, by 16%.
