Alcoholic Drinks in Croatia - New Market Report
After a grim period of significant declines in 2009 and 2010, alcoholic drinks rebounded for the second consecutive year in 2012. New developments in malt-based RTDs, the new dynamics in cider/perry, combined with beer posting positive growth rates, all led to increased sales in 2012. Growth was due to innovation and it is now clear that the gains posted in new categories did not come from cannibalising other alcoholic drinks, but rather from new customers beginning to consume alcoholic drinks.
