Recent Study: Tourist Attractions in the US
Cost-conscious family travellers favoured low-cost, child-friendly attractions in 2012. Museums saw a 5% increase in visitor numbers, making it the best performing category, to reach value sales of US$3.9 billion. The low entry fees associated with US museums and a rebound in family vacations helped to drive visitor growth.
