New Market Study, "Oral Care in Egypt", Has Been Published
Oral care sales are largely limited to mid- to high-income urban consumers in Egypt. Low-income consumers typically have little awareness of the need for oral hygiene or the benefits of oral care. These consumers are focused on economic survival and most would be unable or unwilling to afford oral care. In addition, the strong Islamic tradition for miswak further limited interest in oral care at the end of the review period.
