Tobacco in Kenya - New Report Available
Driven by rising urbanisation and changes in lifestyle in Kenya, volume and value sales of tobacco continued to increase over the review period and in 2012. Indeed, especially among females, smoking became more acceptable over the review period. Taxes meanwhile remained flat in 2012, with unit prices decreasing in constant value terms during the year.
