Tax incentive measures on cars announced by the Brazilian government in December 2011 boosted sales of vehicles during 2012 and as a result had a positive impact on sales of car accessories in general as well as in-car entertainment. This was due to the fact that approximately 70% of new cars in Brazil were sold without any kind of in-car entertainment devices.
