New Market Report: Computers and Peripherals in Ukraine
In 2013, mobile devices appealed to consumers more strongly than traditional desktops, causing the latter to shrink while portable computers gained in share. The latter accounted for 89% share of retail sales volume compared to 86% in 2012. Still desktops could not be considered a decaying product since it met demand with admirers of computer games, young Ukrainians in particular, and business consumers for whom desktops appealed with more powerful characteristics.
