Just Released: "Consumer Lending in Norway"
Consumer lending in Norway continued to grow well in 2013. The growth trend over the review period continued into 2013 with consumer lending demonstrating a positive performance, with positive growth rates in all consumer lending categories. In line with rising expenditure, households are increasingly borrowing in order to make purchases as opposed to saving. This trend stems from a strong national economy which prevented the country from falling into global financial recession.
