Self-Service Cafeterias in Austria - New Market Report
Self-service cafeterias' value sales were impacted by the decline in number of outlets in 2012. Whilst consumers displayed strong interest in self-service cafeterias, opting for the more casual atmosphere and freshly prepared food, the decreasing number of outlets of some of the leading operators caused a decline of overall value sales. Thus, self-service cafeterias registered a negative value growth of 1% in 2012 compared to the 3% value CAGR recorded over the review period.
