Colour cosmetic lenses benefited from strong demand in Malaysia in 2012 as higher numbers of consumers opted for cosmetic lenses for beautifying purposes. An increasing number of optical goods stores offered numerous varieties of cosmetic lenses such as contact lenses with pupil enlarging effects, lenses with different patterns and designs and lenses which change the colour of the iris.
