Snack Bars in India - New Market Study Published
Snack bars remained a niche category in India in 2013 as consumer awareness levels of snack bars was low. The main reasons for such low awareness were a lack of promotional efforts by leading manufacturers and high product prices. Moreover, Indian consumers are still unfamiliar about the nutritional benefits of snack bars and that snack bars can be consumed as an alternative to a quick meal.
