Recent Study: Chilled Processed Food in Mexico
Growth in 2013 is expected to be faster than the review period CAGR, despite the maturity of the category and a lack of innovation in terms of product development. However, chilled/processed food is dominated by chilled processed meat products, which are still bought by families, especially for children's lunches and as appetizers at gatherings. This explains why the category, despite being mature, is still enjoying continued consumption.
