New Report Available: Credit Cards in Indonesia
2013 was a challenging year for credit cards in Indonesia. The growth in cards in circulation slowed considerably in 2012 to just 0.2% due to new government measures to better regulate the credit card environment. Two specific regulations were announced by the Indonesian government in late 2011. These were stricter regulations with regard to interest rates and a limit on credit card ownership.
