Despite previous decline in sales of desktops and notebooks, as users substituted purchases to lower cost tablets, we expect solid growth of 4.1% in German IT spending in 2014 to EUR49.6bn. We expect hardware spending growth will underperform if substitution for cheaper devices continues.
