New Market Study Published: Soft Drinks in Australia
Soft drinks categories with health and wellness propositions performed well in 2013, leveraging growth in the soft drinks industry during the year. Australians turned away from less healthy soft drinks in preference for healthier alternatives such as bottled water or RTD tea. Soft drinks recorded 3% current total value growth taking sales up to A$12.2 billion whilst total volume sales grew by a 1% during the year.
