Recently Released Market Study: Bleach in China
With a small consumer base in China, bleach accounts for only a very small percentage of value sales in home care, with sales only reaching RMB119 million in 2013. With the product's strong smell and concerns about the harm to skin, mainly due to the traditional chlorine ingredient, the category sees very limited acceptance amongst consumers, whilst the current value growth in 2013 was also the slowest amongst all home care categories.
