Canned/preserved food in Serbia was again faced with a decrease in demand in 2012. Although competition is very strong and canned/preserved food is quite developed, in that the product range is very wide across all price bands, the biggest problem is very poor demand which makes competition even stronger. The consumer base has become smaller and it is very hard for companies to retain customers and attract new ones.
