New Market Research Report: Store Cards in Venezuela
The value of store card transactions registered a decline of 6% in 2013, making it the only category of financial cards to record a negative performance in retail value terms. This is the result of a fall of 8% in the number of transactions and a modest 2% increase in the value per transaction. All these indicators point to high inflation rates that continue eroding the purchasing power of Venezuelan consumers.
