Total volume sales for tissue and hygiene in Sweden posted a marginal decrease in 2013. The ongoing unease about the economic climate is forcing price-sensitive consumers to re-evaluate their purchasing decisions leading them to lower or stop their purchases of non-essential tissue and hygiene products. Nevertheless, and despite the volume sales decline recorded in 2013, current value growth for the year was positive continuing the same trend as during the review period.
