Incontinence in Saudi Arabia - New Market Study Published
Incontinence is a widespread problem in Saudi Arabia. A study of 6,600 women aged 20 years and over was published by Alfaisal University's College of Medicine in 2012, with this finding that 29% of respondents suffered from urinary incontinence. Risk factors included older age and large baby birth weight, but were also linked to the common health problems of obesity and diabetes.
