Large cooking appliances achieved moderate growth in 2013, mainly due to a rise in consumer interest in designed kitchens, usually incorporating built-in large cooking appliances into the design of the kitchen. As large cooking appliances are frequently-used household items and had an average replacement cycle of 11 years in 2013, consumers were willing to invest in higher-end products that offered additional benefits while complementing the design of their kitchen.
