The Argentine non-life segment registered growth during the review period (2009-2013), despite several setbacks such as high inflation, which affected commercial lending activities and led to a slowdown in economic growth in 2012. The gross written premium of the non-life insurance segment increased at a review-period compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 31.8%.
