Fragrances being one of the most aspirational products in beauty and personal care has benefited premium fragrances, which grew by 14% in 2013. A low unemployment rate, easy access to credit and the average Chilean having more purchasing power, plus more special offers and smaller versions of brands by retailers/manufacturers, have also encouraged consumers to trade up and start shifting to more premium fragrances.
