Unilever is diversifying its operations into emerging markets, particularly Asia Pacific and Latin America, but there is still significant room for growth. Rising obesity levels, alongside greater consumer awareness of nutrition and healthier diets is leading to increasing demand for health and wellness products. Unilever's three main health positioning areas - weight management, general wellbeing and cardiovascular health - offer opportunities outside of the mature Western Europe market.
