Now Available: Fragrances in Malaysia
Fragrances continued to record strong growth of 5% in retail current value terms in 2013, due to rising demand especially from urban and young consumers. Fragrances benefited from higher disposable incomes which strengthened purchasing power within Malaysia. Consumers were increasingly more willing to invest or spend on fragrances to improve their personal appearance. Young consumers tended to choose lighter, more fruity and floral scents, while older consumers preferred heavier and woodier fragrances.
