Toys and Games in Australia - New Study Released
Overall sales of toys and games in Australia were boosted by the launches of next generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2013. Following sharp declines from 2010 onwards, toys and games transitioned to growth as a result of strong sales of the consoles in the final six weeks of the year. Traditional toys and games experienced steady growth in 2013 as new product launches were received positively by consumers.
