75% of the World in Insecure Employment
The UN agency, the International Labour Organization (ILO), has recently released a report suggesting that up to 75% of workers in the world are not in stable employment. It also goes further to suggest that this widespread insecurity could be hurting the global economy. The report looked at 180 countries and purported to cover 84% of the world's pool of labour.
