A Study Contradicted the Earlier Research That Found Diabetes Can Result in Poor Surgical Outcomes
The researchers at the integrated health care organization Kaiser Permanente, found in their study that diabetic patients who undergo total knee replacement procedures were more susceptible to post-surgical complications than those who did not have diabetes. However, it seems that the findings of new research don't seem to agree with this.
