Infrared Led Market - Rising Security Concerns and Ever Expanding Smartphone Industry
Infrared (IR) LEDs are the transmitters which emit IR rays at a longer wavelength than visible light. These devices are made up of aluminum arsenide or aluminum gallium arsenide and have an operating voltage of around 1.4V. The IR LED emits wavelength at the range of 760 nm and is thus invisible to the human eye. Increasing adoption of 6-inch sapphire wafer substrate is gaining prominence as the 6-inch wafer reduces the cost of LEDs when compared to 2-inch wafers....
