Borazine, or s-triazaborane, is an inorganic compound isoelectronic with benzene that exhibits some aromatic character. Borazine is the preferred precursor for hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) films as it has the correct B-N ratio, a B-N ring structure, and no carbon by-products upon formation of boron nitride.
