New Market Study Published: Cafes/Bars in Denmark
Due to the versatility of cafes in terms of menu offerings, cafe/bars came out strongest through the economic recession and remained the fastest growing consumer foodservice category in 2011. The performance was almost entirely driven by the 2,305 independent cafes which recorded 3% value growth and accounted for 83% share of the overall category's value sales in 2011.
