Following the civil war in Libya in 2011, over 500,000 Libyans were forced to temporarily migrate to Tunisia as refugees. In turn, consumption demand for home care products imported from Tunisia to Libya declined, while demand within Tunisia rose. Many of the players in the Tunisian home care market saw volume gains, thus enabling the market to outperform the review period average.
