Sanitary protection current value sales increased by 2% in 2012 to reach EUR53 million. While volume sales stagnated, demand for branded products grew. In addition, with regard to private label brands there was a migration from economy positioned private label products towards mid-priced products. For example, Rainbow by S Group recorded a value share increase as its 100% biodegradable towels became more popular.
