New Market Study Published: Chilled Processed Food in Slovakia
Key trends within chilled processed food in 2012 focused on the introduction of new healthier products with reduced fat and ready to cook flavoured meats with various spices and sauces. Overall retail volume sales and current retail value sales within chilled processed food increased by 1% and by 2% respectively in 2012. This slow growth rate was due to the declining popularity of chilled fish/seafood, which is suffering from a lack of innovation.
