Recently Released Market Study: Pasta in Thailand
Pasta remains a small packaged food type in Thailand and consumption is still limited to urban areas. Pasta tends to be consumed on an occasional basis, with expatriates, tourists and Thais who have lived in Western countries and enjoy Western food, the major consumers. The move to a single regional market under the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by 2015 is increasing the number of foreigners in Thailand. This development drove the overall consumption of pasta in Thailand in 2012.
