Colour cosmetics registered current value sales growth of 4% in 2012. Increased consumer requirements in colour cosmetics can be considered as a natural consequence of economic downturns, when expensive purchases are postponed or cancelled. The need to save money resulted in more rational purchasing and consumption patterns. Consumers tended to have a limited number of make-up items and even skip some additional products.
