New Market Report: Underwear, Nightwear and Swimwear in Mexico
In 2012 sales of underwear reached Mx$15,415 million, an 8% increase when compared to the previous year. This category represented 70% of the total sales value. Amongst sales of underwear, women's underwear represented 62% of the sales. Underwear is constantly purchased by consumers in Mexico and in the case of men it is a common Christmas present from their wives or mothers.
