The fish and seafood category saw total volume sales decline by 6% in 2012. This represented a significant slowdown in growth compared to 2011, when 5% growth was recorded, and the review period CAGR of 7%. An important driver of this slowdown is the increasing prices of fish and seafood, along with lower yields of from national commercial fishing.
