Retailing in Croatia - New Study Released
As 2012 progressed, the national economy showed more signs of fatigue than recovery. GDP dropped by 2%, instead of growing by 1% as expected. Subsequently, retail value sales, though oscillating from month-to-month, declined in constant terms. In July 2012, current value sales fell by 2%, meaning a decline of 5% in constant terms. An improvement by the end of the year saw retailing in Croatia record positive current value growth over 2012.
