Recent Study: Internet Retailing in the Czech Republic
Internet retailing is the most dynamic channel in the industry, registering healthy sales growth despite the deteriorating economic situation. The constant growth in retail value sales was due to increased internet penetration and the rising popularity of online shopping. Czech consumers are attracted by advantageous pricing, convenience and time savings. As a result, internet retailing gained ground on homeshopping, store-based specialist retailers and direct selling.
