Overall sales of men's outerwear dropped by 2% in volume terms in 2012, due to the 3% decline in the sales of more expensive product categories like coats, suits and trousers. Price sensitivity of male consumers became more accentuated during the aftermath of the crisis period, resulting in postponement of purchases of more than one-season-clothing categories for a future date.
