New Market Study Published: Electronics and Appliance Specialist Retailers in Vietnam
2012 was a tough year for electronics and appliances specialist retailers. Due to the economic downturn and high inflation, Vietnamese consumers tended to cut their spending on unnecessary products such as consumer electronics and appliances in order to save money. As a result, many small and independent retailers struggled to match 2011 sales and some had to close outlets.
