Bottled water sales continued to grow in 2012. Chileans are becoming increasingly interested in leading healthy lifestyles and bottled water is a product category that responds well to the health and wellness trend, especially considering the large number of overweight people in the country. Moreover, the consumption of bottled water continues to increase due to the inclusion of new flavours, packaging and favourable economic conditions in the country which helped to sustain healthy growth.
