New Report Available: Hot Drinks in Egypt
Egyptian hot drinks suffered significant drawbacks in 2011 due to the political and economic unrest that followed the January Revolution. On-trade sales plummeted as the number of tourists declined. In 2012, most industries started to recover as the security situation improved and consumers resumed their consumption habits; however, total volume sales have yet to recover to 2010 levels as many lower-income consumers are cutting back on unnecessary items.
