The most popular type of analgesics in Bulgaria in 2012 continued to be systemic analgesics, with the most popular brand being Analgin. This has been a favourite amongst Bulgarians since its launch in 1954. Furthermore, it was the only systemic analgesic on the market for years; therefore even though competing products are now available, Analgin continues to be the most popular.
