Sales of home care products continued to post positive growth in volume and current value terms in 2012 with some categories showing faster growth compared to 2011. Sales of established categories such as laundry care, dishwashing, home insecticides and surface care grew healthily; and other less established areas such as toilet care and air care showed strong growth in 2012. This is due to the growing population and subsequent rising demand for cleanliness and hygiene.
