New Report Available: Sets/Kits in Spain
VAT increased in 2012 from 18% to 21% as a result of the Spanish government's policy of trying to reduce the excessive public deficit by increasing public income. The poor economic situation, which resulted in the high rate of unemployment in 2012 at almost 6 million people, meant a drop in the Spanish average disposable income, limiting the demand for non-essential products. Sets/kits suffered from the drop in the average disposable income with sales declining by 6% in 2012.
